BERITABANGSA.COM-SURABAYA - Vinautism Gallery is holding a joint painting exhibition entitled "Should We Slow Down" at the Vinautism Gallery Surabaya which is fully supported by PT Matahari Sakti, that started 23 April – 23 May 2022.

The exhibition titled 'Should We Slow Down' displays a variety of paintings that invite people to rethink the challenges of acceleration in this world..
Rudy Purwono, father of Vincent Prijadi Purwono, said that the Vinautism Gallery was originally a private art gallery that displayed various paintings by Vincent Prijadi Purwono, a child with special needs. (ABK or autism).
“This gallery was founded with the vision of providing inspiration and motivation for other parents who have children with special needs. Vinautism Gallery provides workshops on creating visual arts for children with special needs which are guided intensively and methodically. Vinautism Gallery as a private gallery supports the wider development of the art world,explained Rudy Purwono.
Rudy conveyed that in this exhibition there was 3 children with special needs participate.
“All the painters currently exhibiting are from East Java. This exhibition is generally held for the first time. Previously this gallery was for Vincent only. We are part of the painter community in East Java and Indonesia, then this place is open to others, to grow together,” said Rudy Purwono as the owner of the Vinautism Gallery.
Rudy Purwono, total as much 40 Paintings on display of various sizes. The aim of the exhibition is to raise awareness for the public to know the quality of painting talent.
The public can find out the extent of their painting talent from children with special needs.
"We hope that parents who have children with special needs will have inspiration on how to educate their children to develop in the future. So don't get it wrong when your child is an adult, there is no proper treatment,” said Rudy Purwono who hopes that his gallery will be useful for the local community.

Meanwhile, Puspita Dewi Prijadi, the grandmother of Vincent Prijadi Purwono, opened the exhibition, said he was very proud of the achievements of his grandson.
"Today (22/4/22) an exhibition of Vincent's paintings was held with his friends. I think that in the last few years Vincent's paintings have changed a lot. Twice he received an award from America. Vincent's painting selected in America of the year 2020 early. This last, Vincent to America again, invited there and his paintings selected from 600 participants all over the world. Vincent is the only one who represents Indonesia, youngest, and with special needs,” explained Puspita Dewi Prijadi.
“As a family we are very proud and happy. Hopefully in the future Vincent will be more accomplished, the painting is even better and keep up the good work,” added the President Director of PT Matahari Sakti.
Puspita Dewi Prijadi added that the colors and strokes shown in Vincent's paintings are very interesting and have their own meaning.
“From time to time there are many changes for the better. In the future, Vincent's potential will be extraordinary and his paintings will be even better than now,” concluded Puspita Dewi Prijadi.
The exhibition this time followed 15 artist among them 3 autism is specially presented to the public that in East Java there are artists with special needs whose achievements are not inferior to professional artists.
Vincent on that occasion told that he was very happy that his paintings were being exhibited. "I like painting around the world the most,he said.
The painting is drawn in its own uniqueness in detail, representing Vincent's experience while traveling around various countries in the world. He also eloquently mentions the places he visited.
