As does Vincent, thanks to the support and motivation of his parents, led him to become a painter and T-shirt designer to be reckoned with.
"Don't think that children are useless and a burden to parents, although sometimes troublesome, but a test for parents and families that must be faced patiently,said Rudy, while accompanying his son at an exhibition at Neo Soho in the Central Park area, Jalan S Parman, West Jakarta, Sunday, 11 December 2022.
Exhibition organized by 2022 JCDC, event with Alfamart and the autism community, specifically displays the work of people with autism from the various talents they have. From painting, handicrafts to music games.
Vincent is a participant from Surabaya who gets the attention of visitors, especially from millennials. Apart from painting, it also produces T- Artistic shirts. Vincent's paintings are dominated by bright, contemporary colors with images of commercial airplanes and trains.
“I like planes and trains because they have nice interiors,” said Vencent when he was leaving Jakarta with his father after attending the exhibition which ended today.
Regarding his participation in the exhibition, are said to be countless, from national and international level.
Known since middle school, Rudy knew that his 2nd son of three brothers had a specialty, autistic, since middle school.
After he saw his son less concentrated with school studies. He is engrossed in his own world, like autistic children in general.
“Larena Vincent's hobby is painting, I consider this talent given by God, so I invited painting teachers and designers to guide and develop their talents,said Rudy.
He continues to motivate his son, until confidence grows, with his abilities.
“Autistic children cannot be forced to obey their parents, but it is parents who must understand the hobbies of their children,” said Rudy Monday (12/12/2022).
It takes an example, autistic children who have a hobby of music, You can't be forced to be a painter or an electrician. "Not connected,” he said.
At this exhibition Vincent represented, VinAutism Gallery and displays a variety of paintings by him and other autists.
This painting is open to the public and this painting tells about Vincent's experience, who was born as an autistic child, in finding his identity.
